Garjiya Tourist Zone is new spectacular safari zone being added to the Corbett Tiger Reserve is becoming one of popular area among tourists for enjoying safari..  It is opened in November 2020. However, the practice of opening new zone was pending for a long time. Garjiya Safari zone is enriched with a huge number of floral and faunal species. Garjiya Safari zone is known for its wonderful landscape and is very calm and quiet safari zone in Corbett National Park. Garjiya Safari Zone is one of most tiger rich area of the Corbett National Park. Garjiya Safari Zone consists of mixed topography with dense Sal forests combined with grasslands and rich diversity of flora and fauna; hence beauty of Garjiya Safari Zone is appreciated by most visitors. Garjia zone, situated at a suitable distance from Ramnagar is the most preferred zone for wildlife enthusiasts visiting the park for day visit. It gives its visitors a wonderful experience of the beautiful forests. When the tourist's preference in terms of safari is concerned Garjia gives a tough competition to other tourism zone of Corbett National Park.

Jim Corbett Garjiya Safari Zone Package Booking Rate & Inclusions:

• INR 2,400/- to be paid at the time of booking
• INR 2,800/- to be paid at the time of boarding 
• For Foreigners: Total package amount is INR 12,000/- per jeep per time
• INR 9,400/- to be paid at the time of booking
• INR 2,800/- to be paid at the time of boarding 
• Permit issued by Forest department with GST to enter in Garjiya zone
• Payment processing charges

Cancellation / Amendment Policy:

• After booking, there shall be no cancellation refund for any booking under any circumstances and no request shall be entertained for refund.
• For amendment, INR 2000/ INR 7000 will be the charge per jeep (subject to availability).

It is always best to book your permit in advance before reaching at the Corbett tiger reserve as there is always a rush of tourists for the safari and only 15 safari jeeps are allowed to enter into the Garjiya zone in one shift and almost all jeeps are pre-booked.

How to Reach Garjia Safari Zone?

The entry gate to Garjia zone is Garjia (Ringora) gate, which is about seven kilometers away from Ramnagar city. After entering through Amdanda gate, you cross about 3 kilometers of buffer zone before reaching the core area of Garjia ecotourism zone.
